Ruth Yellowhawk

Former Yellow Springs resident and WYSO employee Ruth Yellowhawk died Saturday, Aug. 7, in her home in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Her husband, Jim, and other family members were with her.
Ruth spent her last few days in the glass-walled living room of her home where she had a panoramic view of the skies and evergreens surrounding her home. Each evening, Jim sat beside her and read the cards that came in the day’s mail. Every day brought messages from friends and loved ones.
