Dance marathon to benefit Senior Center

The Yellow Springs Senior Center will hold a dance marathon fundraiser on Friday, March 13, from 5 to 10 p.m. at the Emporium, during the regular Friday night wine-tasting.
DJ Basim Blunt will spin tunes from 5 to 8 p.m., and the Hoppers will play from 8 to 10 p.m. Teams of dancers have committed to staying on the floor for the entire five hours to raise money for the center, and everyone is invited to join in and dance. Free refreshments will be available, along with the regular Friday night wine and beer from the Emporium.
Those interested in supporting the event may pledge per hour to help support a dance team — for instance, a $10-per-hour pledge would be a $50 donation to the center. Interested parties may also join a dance team for a portion of the five hours, or just show up to dance and have a good time.
