Penn State University sophomore and 2007 Yellow Springs High School alumnus Sam Borchers doubled up and won two races last weekend, April 17–18, at an invitational Track & Field meet at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pa. Borchers left the competition behind in the 1500 meter run with a 4:05 equivalent mile. His winning time, which qualified him for the IC4A meet, was 3:49.81. Second place was 3:55.84.
