Shane West, 56, Fairborn, died along the bike path near the Women’s Park on Sunday morning, Jan. 29. Yellow Springs Police found no evidence of foul play and, pending crime lab results, consider the death to be a suicide, Police Chief John Grote said today. West frequented Yellow Springs, and police found several notes requesting that two people in the village be contacted about his death.
