SPORTS SUNDAY — McKinney volleyball looks to stay perfect

The McKinney eighth-grade volleyball team looked to extend an undefeated 9–0 record that began last year when its players were in seventh grade at a home quad meet on Saturday. They came into the meet 1–0 on the season.
After narrowly escaping Xenia Christina, the McKinney girls played against a tough Troy Christian team and found a way to pull out the first set 26–24. Later in the day they faced Emmanuel Christian.
