Charlotte Price

Charlotte Price of Yellow Springs died peacefully in her home on Friday, Feb. 15. She was 69.

Charlotte was born on June 14, 1943, in Claiborne, Ala., the daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Rush) Campbell. She worked for Antioch College for 35 years and loved her students there. She was a strong woman who fully supported the union, loved politics and was a dedicated Democrat. Charlotte loved the outdoors including planting flowers and enjoyed sewing, quilting and reading. Above all, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister who cherished her family. She was also very grateful to the Yellow Springs EMS, especially Colin.

Charlotte is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, John Steven Price; son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Patricia Moore; daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Adam Schomer and Teresa and Jon Paulaskas; grandchildren, Katie, Melissa, Alex, Natalie Angie, Jill and Sarah; brothers and sisters-in-law, Eddie and Peggy Campbell, John Lawrence and Sandy Campbell and Danny and Carol Campbell; sister and brother-in-law, Nell and Larry Andrews; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Jerry Campbell. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 2 p.m. at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home.
