Yellow Springs Bronze Sculpture Symposium — going on this week and next

Yesterday was the kick-off to the Bronze Sculpture Symposium! The Symposium will have events just about everyday for the next 2 weeks, check out the schedule below.

All events are at the Outdoor Foundry area of the Antioch College campus (Corry Street entrance), unless otherwise noted.

Day 2 – Monday, October 14, 2013
9 AM – Observe guest artists sculpting. Students and teachers welcome.
12-1 PM – Artists lunch break
1-5 PM – Observe Artists sculpting. Students and teachers welcome.
7:30-9 PM – Artist Lecture: Brian Maughan, Invited National Bronze Artist from Yellow Springs. YS Brewery, 305 N. Walnut Street

1-5 PM – Observe Artists sculpting. Their 8 final pieces (2 from each) are due by end of day. Sunset (6:45 PM) Bronze Pour! Limited seating for bronze pour, please bring blankets or chairs. Ceramic shells of the artists’ first sculptures return for casting. Entertainment by Soul Fire Tribe and more!
