The YS Arts Council's Holiday Art Jumble will return this year in December. Donations to the jumble will be accepted, beginning Nov. 15.
Holiday Art Jumble to return

The YS Arts Council’s Holiday Art Jumble, a fundraiser for the YSAC, will return this year in December. According to the YSAC:
“We invite you to donate anything fascinating, lovable, crafty or ‘arty’ that you are ready to pass on or no longer have a place for. We would love your out-of-the-closet art, grandma’s arty knick knacks, hand-crafted whimsy and art supplies.”
Donations may be dropped off at the YSAC Gallery, located at 111 Corry Street, Nov. 15–Dec. 1, Wednesday–Sunday, 1–4 p.m. The Holiday Art Jumble will open to the public on Dec. 6; the YSAC will still accept donations for the jumble through Dec. 28, in order to keep restocking.
Toys, clothing, kitchen appliances and books will not be accepted for the Holiday Art Jumble, though exceptions will be made if these items qualify as “art” in some way. Questions about such items, or any large items to be donated, should be addressed to Nancy Mellon at 767-1366. Those interested in donating may also contact Nancy to arrange an alternate time to drop off items.
