Thomas T. Blake

Thomas T. Blake passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, at 8 p.m. at his residence in Sidney, Ohio. He was 71.

Thomas was born on Nov. 17, 1943, in Sidney, the son of the late Thaleon and Esther (Ailes) Blake. He is survived by two sisters, Barbara Geuy, of Sidney, and Mrs. Rodney (Ellen) Hoover of Yellow Springs; and seven nieces and nephews: Robert (Joni) Geuy, Julia (Evan) Geuy Young , Robby (Cindy) Hoover, Myles (Valerie) Hoover, Thaleon (Senely) Tremain , Heidi (Jonathan) Hoover and Thea (Keith) Tremain.

Thomas worked at S&H Products for over 30 years. He enjoyed all kinds of music, especially songs sung by Elvis, and loved tinkering with electronics. Thomas was a member of Sidney First United Methodist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, 11:30 a.m., at the Cromes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jane Madden officiating. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery in Sidney. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Shelby County Special Olympics in memory of Thomas Blake. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. Condolences and expressions of sympathy may be made to the Blake family at http://www.cromesfh.com.
