University graduates Ph.D.s in leadership and change

The commencement ceremony of Antioch University’s Ph.D. in Leadership and Change will take place Saturday, Aug. 1, at 9 a.m. at the Antioch University Midwest campus. Twenty-three students from 14 states, Canada and Nigeria will receive their degrees. This is the 10th graduating class since the university launched its program.

“This year’s graduating class includes nonprofit leaders, change consultants, entrepreneurs, social justice activists, community organizers, educators of all stripes, lawyers and businessmen,” said Dr. Laurien Alexandre, provost of the university. “As socially engaged reflective scholar-practitioners, they leave the program prepared to lead with others, to learn with others and to take their knowledge and skills forward to advance social economic and environmental justice in all the ways that align with their passions and purposes.”

The event take place in AUM auditorium.
