Springs-Net to talk municipal fiber

Local group Springs-Net will give a short presentation at the Senior Center on Thursday, Aug. 18, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The group was formed by village residents aiming to bring high-speed, affordable and locally-owned and operated Internet access to the village. The group’s presentation will highlight how a proposed municipal fiber network could benefit citizens and businesses and strengthen village sustainability. Residents and representatives of local businesses are invited to ask questions and get an update on the project.
