Vicky Lynn Shaw

Vicky Lynn Shaw was born March 23, 1950, in Springfield, Ohio, and passed on at home on Aug. 24, 2016.

Vicky grew up in Yellow Springs. After high school, she worked as a secretary at Vernay Labs. She also worked at Robbins and Myers and Clark County Job and Family Services in Springfield. Vicky was very cheerful, friendly and loving and never met a stranger. She especially got joy from her pets. She loved music and enjoyed singing with friends in her church choir. With her kindness and silly humor, Vicky will make the angels smile.

She is survived by her mother, Rosalyn Shaw, of Yellow Springs; brother Russ (Ann) Shaw, of Yellow Springs; sister Bonnie Shaw (George West), of North Lewisburg, Ohio; niece Erin Byrnes’ and special cousin, Michael Coe. She was preceded in death by her father, Victor Shaw. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA. A celebration of life will be announced later.
