lage of Yellow Springs for the following position:
POSITION: Finance Director STATUS: Full-time
APPOINTED BY: Village Manager (Char ter Sec. 50)
FLSA: EXEMPT PAY RATE: DOQ
BENEFITS: As determined by law. This position is eligible for health insurance benefits per Village policy.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and/or a combination of education and experience in government finance. Super visor y experience preferred. The Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio is seeking candidates for the position of Finance Director. This position is responsible for Village financial accounting, management, compliance and repor ting. The Village has a $3.5 million
General Fund Budget and $7 million in Enterprise Fund Budgets (Electric, Water, Sewer, Refuse) as well as special revenue, debt ser vice, and capital budgets. The Finance Director assists with annual budget preparation, including preparation of the five-year forecast. The Finance Director is also responsible for operation of the Utility Billing Of fice and super vises three (3) employees.
The Finance Director assists the Village Manager, Depar tment Heads, the Mayor and Council with their respective budgets and oversight.
