VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS PUBLIC MEETINGS

Absentee was the most popular way to vote in this election, as 34,700 ballots were cast absentee, more than one third of the total, 89,627. Another 33,676 voted in person on election day, 19,951 voted early in person and 1,791 voted with a provisional ballot.

On the cold snowy evening of Dec. 1, Village leaders and a handful of onlookers gathered in the usual area to light the village holiday tree with strands of colorful lights.

Robert Paul Gabrielsky, known to all as Gabe, died in his adoptive home of Los Angeles, Nov. 19 of 2020.

Mae Wagstaff Dorsey-Brown went to be with the Lord on Nov. 19, 2020, at her home in Yellow Springs.

Virginia Slone, of Yellow Springs, passed away Nov. 16, 2020. She was 94.
