Betty J. Cordell Ford, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2019, with her children by her bedside.

Yellow Springs lost one of its icons on Jan. 20, 2019, when Paul M. DeLaVergne passed away after a brief illness.

This year’s festival will feature seven short plays, with most of them the traditional length of 10 minutes or shorter, and one at double the standard length, anchoring the second half of the show.

Pamela A. Butts, age 72, of Saint Paris, and formerly of Yellow Springs, passed away at 1:12 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, in her residence. 

A celebration of life memorial will be held for Kenneth Livingston on Saturday, Feb. 2, 4–6 p.m., in Glen Helen’s Vernet Ecological Center.

Longtime resident Paul Delavergne died on Sunday, Jan. 20.

Al Denman died Wednesday morning, Jan. 16, 2019. He was 91.
