Antioch College features Whitmore

Antioch College’s Herndon Gallery exhibit features Whitmore’s oils and works on papers, with an emphasis on local landscapes. Whitmore taught at the Dayton Art Institute and Antioch College, and lived on John Bryan Park Road. He is the father of villager Jon Whitmore, who collaborated on the exhibit with Antioch College Morgan Fellow Anne Bohlen. The gallery is open from 1–4 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays and 7–9 p.m. on Thursdays. Shown above are, left, former village resident Kay Kendall with Sue Parker. In the background is Ali Thomas.
