YSHS at State Championship swim meet
Yellow Springs swimmers Erika Chick and Elizabeth Malone both made it to the podium at the Division II Ohio High School Swimming Championships in Canton last month.
Chick took third and fifth in her events, while Malone came away with fourth and 12th place finishes. Malone dropped time in both of her events, which is rare at the state meet while Chick placed in the top eight in both of her events for the third year in a row. Chick and Malone combined for a 17th place finish out of 56 teams at the tournament.
