Carlos ‘Brennan’ Fox

Carlos “Brannon” Fox passed away on Dec. 21 at his Yellow Springs home. He was 56.

Brannon was born in 1958, the son of the late Janet A. Wooley, of Yellow Springs, and the late Garfield Fox Sr., of Yellow Springs. He graduated from Yellow Springs High School in 1979. Other than practicing medical massage, he greatly enjoyed playing tennis, ping pong, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Janet A. Wooley and Garfield Fox Sr., and by a brother, Garfield Fox Jr.

Brannon is survived by his son, Jaron Fox; two sisters, Carolyn Daniels, Clovis Fox (Michael) Rogers; one brother, Kelley (Christina) Fox; eight nieces, Melodee Hillman (Sam) Thomas, Marjorie Hillman (Michael) Turner, Tyanne Taylor (Brent) Clark, Donna Taylor (Alexander) Bradley, Cynthia Fox Ferguson, Alisia Fox (Ryan) Boyer, Kelsey Fox (Tyler) Manuel and Cathy Fox; and two nephews, Chuck Taylor and Tyler Fox. He is also survived by a host of great-nieces and great-nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews. He is also survived by two special devoted friends, Marilyn Birch and Emma “Jane” Brannon.

A memorial service for Brannon will be held on Sunday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church, 314 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs. Prior to the service, a private family viewing will be held from 12:30–1 p.m., and a public viewing will be held from 1–2 p.m. at the church.

    Brannon did some work for me and I really liked him. I know he had some problems, but it makes me sad that he is gone.
