PorchFest coming to village; musicians, porches needed

Yellow Springs PorchFest, a day of music celebrating community and local musicians, is being planned for Saturday, Oct. 6. The unique festival will feature a number of concerts performed on the porches, front yards and patios of residents and businesses within a half-mile radius of downtown Yellow Springs. The festival will be held from noon to 7 p.m.
The organizers of PorchFest are in the process of securing local musicians of all genres to perform and venues to host the entertainment. Those interested in performing, or who would like to host performances, are asked to visit ysporchfest.com to find out more; information about business sponsorships is also available at the site.
