The annual spring clean-up week will return to the village in a few weeks.

The annual spring clean-up week will be held Monday–Friday, May 6–10. During that week, household items, large and small, placed at the curb with regular trash pick-up will be removed for free by Rumpke. This service is available to Village solid waste customers only.
Rumpke’s bulk items rules are as follows:
• Glass must be broken out of window frames, shower doors, storm doors, etc. by customer.
• The limit for construction items is six cans or two full hoppers.
• Freon must be removed from containing units and items by customer.
• Mattresses should be wrapped and marked and the frame broken to indicate the presence of bed bugs.
• Limbs and brush, as well as old tires, are not accepted by Rumpke; visit http://www.co.greene.oh.us and click on “Environmental Services” for more information on how to dispose of these items.
