Donations needed for fireworks display

The Yellow Springs Odd Fellows Lodge is sponsoring the annual Fourth of July community fireworks display. In addition to the money collected from the crowd at Gaunt Park each year, the Odd Fellows depend on donations from the community to help cover the roughly $7,700 cost of the event.
As Megan Robinow of the Odd Fellows writes: “We would appreciate your consideration in making a contribution to the 2019 display. All contributions received by July 8 will be recognized in the Yellow Springs News, and later contributions will be recognized next year. Please let us know if you prefer to remain anonymous.”
Donations may be placed in the collection jar at Town Drug or mailed to: Odd Fellows Fireworks Fund, 261 Xenia Ave., Yellow Springs, OH, 45387. For more information, contact Robinow at 937-269-2807 or by email at emma.robinow@gmail.com.
