Gregory Allen Smith, Jr.
Gregory Allen Smith Jr., born June 23, 1992, in Phoenix, Ariz., departed this life on Sunday, June 16, in Mesa, Ariz. He was preceded in transition by his father, Gregory Allen Smith Sr., of Ocean Springs, Miss.
Greg Jr. received his early education at Children’s Montessori and Mills Lawn Elementary in Yellow Springs prior to relocating, with his father and paternal grandparents, to Ocean Springs.
He is survived by his mother, Terri Nealy; brother, Donovan James Smith; and sister, Berkeley Rene Smith, all of Phoenix, Ariz. He is also survived by paternal grandprents, James (“Jim”) and Adelia Smith, of Ocean Springs; maternal grandfather, Elson Bertrain Nealy, of New Orleans, La.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 6, beginning at 11 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Ocean Springs.
