Agraria Journal Winter 2021

Agraria exists because of the legacy of exploration passed down through the years from our founder, Arthur E. Morgan, to Community Solutions and exhibited by all those who decided that the land we steward and the programs we provide are important. This spirit of communal responsibility and discovery remains strong through Agraria’s staff, board, volunteers, and supporters who help us plant seeds—literal and figurative—and keep us grounded in the central goals of our work while encouraging us to grow and evolve and keep pushing forward. As an organization, Agraria is experiencing the progression from the small grassroots “startup” we were in 2017 into a new phase of growth in targeted programs, strategic facilities and land use, and investment in the people and systems that will move our mission forward in the coming years. To make this possible, we launched the Regenerative Futures Fund this year to build a consistent foundation of support that will enable the internal capacity building necessary for this growth. So far, we have received gifts and pledges of support totaling $337,000 a year over three years, which represents 56% of our goal! There has never been a more impactful time to invest in Agraria’s future! We invite you to donate through our website or with the enclosed gift envelope and join a community of supporters working to strengthen the foundation for Agraria’s sustainability and growth. Thank you for all you do! Honoring Legacy as We Move into the Future BY NAOMI BONGORNO Julia Cady has been a strong supporter of Agraria since its inception.
