AGRARIA JOURNAL 2022 47 GRAIN SCHOOL Participants in the inaugural Grain School last August sampled beer and the heritage grains used to brew it, tasted bread baked with heritage rye, wheat, and spelt, and enjoyed fire-baked pizza with crusts made from heritage grains and baked in Agraria’s cob oven. The three-day Grain School was cosponsored by Agraria, Tecumseh Land Trust, Antioch College, Cornville Seed, Appalachian Staple Foods Collaborative, and Rural Action. FALL FESTIVAL 2022 It was fun to see so many people on Agraria enjoying each other, the glorious fall day, and the land during our annual Fall Festival in October. Festival-goers listened to stories and roasted stick bread around the fire circle, made scarecrows, and learned about our work on tours around the farm. We harvested a lot of goodwill, interest, and excitement about Agraria and are grateful to all the folks who came out to celebrate the harvest season with us.
