40 AGRARIA JOURNAL 2022 LET THERE BE LIGHT The new electrical pole at the entrance to Agraria on Dayton-Yellow Springs Road is a sign of a big change—or rather charge—for Agraria’s historic barn: it is now fully wired for electricity, with light fixtures installed on both the upper and lower levels. We flipped the switch on the new lighting in May and raised music to the rafters during our Dogwood Festival at the end of May, thanks to the new electrical outlets in the barn. The electrical upgrade will also allow for the installation of ceiling fans to cool the barn for events and gatherings during the warm summer months as well as lighting for the lower level of the barn, which will enable further development of that space, which now houses our workshop and storage area. We are grateful to Paul Larkowski of Regulator Watts for this much needed improvement to the barn. What’s Happening on Agraria
