In 2016, the sculpture, created by local artists Kaethi Seidl and Beth Holyoke, was awarded the “Village Inspiration & Design Award, or VIDA, by the Art and Culture Commission. If you visit the sculpture, be sure to view the magnificent mosaic on the back, which also includes a brief history of the park.
