I continue to love to garden and also walk, hike, ski and snow- shoe depending on the season and weather.Though fully retired now, I still enjoy occasionally working with neighborhood children who need a bit of support and encouragement with their learning. VICTORIES? No victories, just several dozen kids, many now grown, who became competent readers and writers and hopefully still take pleasure in those skills. I’ve gained more compassion and patience over the years and have a great deal of gratitude for family, friends, colleagues, the larger com- munity, and what Antioch gave me, especially through co-op and AEA. I look forward to what the renewed college will accomplish. Ellen with Shannon and daughter Anna. Daughter-in-law Shannon; Seth and wife, Bethany, with Case and Alina.
