I started a business crocheting specialized kipot for weddings and bar mitz- vahs and then began making beauti- ful lace kipot for women. I worked with other fiber artists on creating and embellishing beautiful Judaica and we wrote and published a book. I designed needlepoint canvases on commission and did many other in- dividual works. Over the years I have been able to work incorporating the things I love doing. I sewed special items for people. I baked cakes for a lo- cal concert house. I have sung in schools and taught the children songs and crafts. I have shown and sold my paintings. I have taught, and still teach, knitting, crochet- ing and spinning to children and adults. I see my work in the homes of friends and family and every once in a while on a stranger. It al- ways gives me a thrill. I began to work in tapestry several years ago and belong to a small guild. Our Judi singing at Gardenia Club. work has been in many exhibits all over the country.This is an exciting new direction combining my paint- ing and love of fiber. My life has been rich and full. Full of wonderful people and rich in experience and very, very lucky.
