Throughout the year, we organize vari- ous events, fundraisers and initiatives that directly benefit our students and teachers. From potlucks and festivals to cultural celebrations and classroom supplies, the PTO works to ensure that all Mills Lawn students have access to full participation in Mills Lawn school-, grade- and class-wide activities. We also support educators by funding extra experiences and supplement- ing classroom budgets with the extras that make lessons shine. Our two highest attended events of the 2023–24 school year were Grandfriends Day, which brought over 200 grandfriends to Mills Lawn, and Winterfest, where vari- ous community groups hosted activity sta- tions for local children. Last year, through our Street Fair fundraisers and the gifts of our Bulldog Backers, PTO funded over $24,000 of educational materials, experiences, teacher supports and events. If you’d like to help, we are always looking for Street Fair parking volunteers. We are also currently accepting monetary donations for our annual school supply drive. Just $20 will buy a set of school supplies for a Bulldog in need. The money we raise goes right to where it makes a difference: our kids’ educational experiences. Please find a way to join us!
