News reporters conducted inter- views with all 14 candidates. An asterisk (*) denotes an incumbent candidate, of which there are two. Polling location All village voters — those who live in pre- cincts 440, 441, 442 and 443 — and Miami Township voters who live in precinct 456 vote at Antioch University Midwest’s Mul- tipurpose Room, located at 900 Dayton St., Yellow Springs. Voters in Miami Township precinct 455 will vote at Cedarville Baptist Church, located at 200 Parkview Lane, Cedarville. Precinct 440 consists of most of the north side of town, and precinct 441 includes the western part of Yellow Springs. Precinct 442 consists of much of the central areas of the village and downtown. Precinct 443 includes the south end of Yellow Springs. Precinct 456 surrounds Yellow Springs and is bounded to the north by North Enon Road, to the east by Meredith Road, to the west by Cornerstone Trail, and to the south by Hyde Road and a property line southeast of Hyde Road. Precinct 455 includes the eastern por- tion of Miami Township and residences east of Grinnell and Bryan Park roads. Polls will be open on Tuesday, Nov. 4, from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Early voting In-person early voting for the Nov. 4 gen- eral election is held at the Greene County Board of Elections office, located at 551 Ledbetter Road in Xenia. Early voting hours are as follows: •Tuesdays–Fridays, Oct. 7–17, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. •Monday–Friday, Oct. 20–24, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. • Monday, Oct. 27, 7:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. • Tuesday, Oct. 28, 7:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m. • Wednesday, Oct. 29–Friday, Oct. 31, 7:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m. • Saturday, Nov. 1 — 8 a.m.–4 p.m. • Sunday, Nov. 2 — 1–5 p.m. Absentee ballots Voters applying for an absentee ballot are not required to state a reason, but must fill out an application and provide either their Ohio driver’s license number, the last four digits of their Social Security number or a copy of a different form of photo identification in order to receive a ballot. Absentee ballot requests must be mailed to the Greene County Board of Elections. Thedeadline to request anabsen- tee ballot is Tuesday, Oct. 28; mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, Nov. 3. Voters may drop off absentee ballots until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day at the Ledbetter Road office. Rides available The Yellow Springs Senior Center, 227 Xenia Ave., will provide rides to the polling location for the elderly or disabled. Call the Senior Center at 937-767-5751 two to three business days in advance. The center is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOV. 4 POLLS ARE OPEN 6:30 A.M.–7:30 P.M. CANDIDATES NIGHTS ARE OCT. 15 & 16 Mayor & Council, Oct. 15; Trustee & School Board, Oct. 16. Both events are at 7 p.m. in the Mills Lawn gym, and are sponsored by the James A McKee Association.
