Ordinance approving a lease with Verizon

Interested persons will take note that the Village Council of Yellow Springs on Monday, March 15, 2010, gave first reading to an ordinance, text to follow.

Council will consider said ordinance for second reading and possible passage into law during a public hearing to begin at 7 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2010, in the Bryan Community Center, 100 Dayton Street.
ORDINANCE 2010-03, VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS:Ordinance Approving a Lease with Verizon

Whereas, the Village of Yellow Springs has been in negotiations with Verizon regarding erection of a cell phone tower at the Bryan Center; and
Whereas, the terms of the lease have now been established;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council hereby ordains as follows:

Section 1. The Council hereby approves a lease with Verizon currently on file with the Clerk of Council.
Section 2. The Village Manager is authorized to execute the lease.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall become effective at the earliest period permitted by law.
