The Grand Introduction Ceremony of the Coretta Scott King Center for Cultural and Intellectual Freedom was celebrated on Tuesday, March 27, with a diverse series of performances. Valerie Blackwell-Truitt, top right, choreographed and performed with the Yellow Springs community dance ensemble.

Vicki Crawford, left, associate professor of history at Clark Atlanta University, was the keynote speaker
