PUBLIC HEARING
BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS
Notice is hereby given that:
In certain case in which a property owner requests a waiver of all or part of a Village Zoning regulation, the waiver is referred to as a “Special Exception” rather than a Variance. A request to vary parking regulations is such a case, according to Code Chapter 1242.06(e)(1)E.
Judith Hempfling has requested a Special Exception to the Village of Yellow Springs’ off-street parking regulations. The proposal involves conversion of an existing garage at 315 Elm St. into a small dwelling unit. Chapter 1268.05(c) of the Zoning Code requires 2 off-street parking spaces per dwelling unit. The petitioner proposes the use of only onstreet parking spaces.
The Greene County Parcel I.D. # is F19000100100013000.
