ORDINANCES RE: ZONING CODES
VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS, OHIO
Interested persons will take note
that the Village Council of Yellow
Springs on Monday, July 1, 2019,
gave first readings to ordinances,
text to follow.
Council will give a second reading
and pass the ordinances into law
during a public hearing on Monday,
July 15, 2019. All readings will take
place at the Bryan Community
Center, 100 Dayton St.
ORDINANCE 2019-17
• Proposes changes to the voting
process for alternatives which
will allow alternatives to weigh in
on issues they were not previ-
ously in attendance for by affirm-
ing that they read the meeting
minutes, all related documents,
and viewed the recorded copy of
the meeting.
ORDINANCES 2019-18; 19; 20; 21 & 22
• Related to changing Transient
Guest Lodging to a Conditional
Use in all relevant sections of the
zoning code. At present, TGLs
are a Permitted Use.
ORDINANCES 2019-23; 24 & 25
• Will repeal and replace the
language currently contained
in the zoning code so that the
voting regulations for the Plan-
ning Commission and BZA are
consistent with each other and
with the Charter.
