Below is a list of community events that have been canceled or rescheduled. Please check our website or with the various institutions for updates.

Spring Street Fair canceled
The Yellow Springs Chamber of Commerce Special Events Coordinator Alexandra Scott announced April 2 in an email that, “due to the evolving nature of the COVID-19 situation, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the June 13, 2020 Street Fair.” Read the ysnews.com post for details; visit yschamber.org for more information.
YS Library
The YS Library will be closed through April 6 All Greene County Public Library locations will remain closed through May 1. Due dates for library materials, including those borrowed through interlibrary loan, will be extended until the library is reopened. As the COVID-19 situation progresses, the library will update its page at greenelibrary.info/covid-19-plan. Until the library reopens, its external book drop is closed, and all patrons are asked not to return any items they have checked out. No overdue fees will be issued while the library is closed.
Glen Helen
Glen Helen buildings are currently closed to the public. All programming is canceled through April. At this time, trails and outdoor raptor enclosures remain open for self-guided hikes. Visit glenhelen.org for more information.
Senior Center
The Senior Center is closed to all regularly scheduled activities until further notice. Telephones will be answered during closure in order for adults to receive support services. The center will also continue to provide transportation services. In a joint effort, the Senior Center and Tom’s Market are working to deliver groceries to community members. - YS Arts Council gallery — closed through April 16; exhibit postponed
- Village Artisans artists reception for “Dare 2B a Little Square — Take 2” postponed
- NAMI support groups — online only until further notice
- Shakespeare Reading Group — meetings halted until further notice
- YS Hootenanny, YS Ukulele Club — meetings canceled until further notice
