Call for lamp pole banner submissions

CALL FOR LAMP POLE BANNER SUBMISSIONS
To honor the activist spirit of Yellow Springs, the Arts and Culture Commission is putting out a call to our community residents for any protest posters used during demonstrations over the years. Subject matter can vary including fighting racism, sexism, LGBTQ rights and environmental justice.
• Select posters from your collection that could be manipulated to fit the lamp pole banners (3´ tall x 1´10´´ wide) through downtown Yellow Springs. Please only submit posters for which you have the authority to give copyright approval for the creation of the banner.
• Protest poster submissions can be made by sending a digital picture or a PDF to Laurie Freeman at beahappycamper@comcast.net.
• Submissions are due by Friday, December 18, 2020.
• Once the selection process has been completed, an original scan of the posters may be needed if a high-resolution electronic version is not available.
