DIGITIZING VILLAGE DOCUMENTS
VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS, OHIO
The Village of Yellow Springs is launching a major project to digitize all Council minutes, resolutions and ordinances from 1949 to present day, and make these documents available online for anyone to view and search. This project was made possible in part by an award from the Ohio Historical Records Advisory Board, through funding from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC), and the National Archives and Records Administration.
Each record will be OCR scanned as keyword searchable PDF documents, and will be a powerful tool for anyone who wishes to learn more about the history of Yellow Springs. We anticipate the project completion will be December 31, 2021, and will continue to make announcements informing of the status, and a concrete go live date for the document library website.
