OPENING: COORDINATOR FOR THE VILLAGE MEDIATION PROGRAM PART-TIME POSITION, STIPEND AVAILABLE
The qualified individual will demonstrate the ability to organize programs, recruit volunteers, coordinate trainings, and assess community needs. They will possess a working knowledge of conflict engagement principles, mediation approaches, and facilitation/group processes.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Direct coordination of mediations, conducting regular meetings with volunteers, liaising with Village Leaders and limited strategic planning.
The full range of opportunities will be determined in collaboration with the VMP program.
Applicants must feel comfortable engaging with conflict engagement processes as needed, have good knowledge of the Yellow Springs and surrounding community and be able to maintain confidentiality.
