AMENDING RULES AND PROCEDURES FOR COUNCIL
ORDINANCE 2022-24, VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS, OHIO
Interested persons will take note that the Village Council of Yellow Springs on Monday, June 6, 2022, gave first reading to an ordinance during a public hearing, text to follow.
Council will give a second reading and pass into law during a public hearing on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, in the Bryan Community Center, 100 Dayton St.
WHEREAS, Section 20 of the Charter for the Village of Yellow Springs, Ohio, calls for Council to adopt rules and procedures governing its meetings; and,
WHEREAS, Council for the Village of Yellow Springs wishes to amend its Rules and Procedures, as passed by Ordinance 2022-12, to reflect the intentions of the current Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, COUNCIL FOR THE VILLAGE OF YELLOW SPRINGS, OHIO, HEREBY ORDAINS THAT:
Section 1. The attached rules and procedures (Exhibit A) are hereby adopted with all requested changes.
Section 2. These rules and procedures shall take effect at the earliest date permitted by law.
