It’s been a number of years since visual artist Laura Carpenter left Yellow Springs. A part of her remains here in spirit, though, and a current exhibit of Carpenter’s artwork at the Glen House Inn Bed and Breakfast is “very specific to Ohio.”

Villager Earl "Petey" Hull died July 1, 2024; he was 83. Visitaiton will be held Friday, July 19, 10 a.m., with services at 11 a.m., at Central Chapel, AME, 411 S. High St. Interment will be in the Hull Family plot at Tar Box Cemetery in Wilberforce. A full obituary will appear in an upcoming issue of the News.
