Berthena Louden

Berthena M. Louden, of Memphis, Tenn., and formerly of Springfield, died Sept. 12. She was 95.
She was a retired employee of the State of Ohio Bureau of Workman’s Compensation.
Mimi, as she was lovingly called, is survived by two daughters and their partners, Sonia Louden and Walter Walker of Memphis, Tenn., and Janet Louden and David Shular of Yellow Springs, Ohio, a sister; Frances L. McKenzie of Memphis, Tenn., a sister-in-law and her spouse, Costella Louden and Rev. C.T. Ayers; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
The funeral service was held Saturday, Sept. 20, in the chapel at Ferncliff Cemetery. Burial followed in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a feeding program, food bank, or charity of choice.
