Kathryn DeWine

Kathryn Becky DeWine, infant daughter of Brian and Kali (nee Spink) DeWine, of Chattanooga, Tenn., died on Nov. 20. Named after her Great-grandmother Kathryn and her Aunt Becky, she died prior to birth from a condition known as triploidy.
Kathryn is preceded in death by her aunt, Rebecca (Becky) DeWine, great-grandparents, Richard and Jean DeWine, and great-grandmother, Kathryn Bignall.
Those left to mourn her loss include parents Brian and Kali DeWine; grandparents Roberta and Thomas Spink, and Michael and Frances DeWine; great-grandparents Rex Bignall, Donald and Helen Spink, and William and Mary Struewing; uncles Aaron Spink, Pat DeWine, John (Michele Burns) DeWine and Mark DeWine; aunts Robyn Spink, Jill (Bill) Darling, Alice DeWine and Anna DeWine; and numerous cousins, who never had the chance to play with her.
The funeral service was held at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, Signal Mountain, Tenn., on Saturday, Nov. 22. A graveside service was held at St. Paul’s Cemetery, Yellow Springs, on Tuesday, Nov. 25.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the “Kids R Special, Too” Division of the Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN 37416.
