Michael V. McCann died Monday, Feb. 1, in his home, surrounded by family. He was 62.

Born July 15, 1947, in Xenia, Michael was an avid photographer and world traveler. He was also a firm supporter of Bulldog athletics, videotaping games for the football and basketball programs. He was proud to know his films helped some young adults get to college.

Michael McCann lived for his family and was a loving son, brother, father, uncle and grandfather. He will be missed for all of time. He is survived by his children, Christina and Kelly Fox, Craig McCann, Samantha Stewart and Michael and Margarita Spencer, sister Mary Katherine and her husband Gary Day, grandchildren Tyler, Kelsey, Kaitlynn, Siobhan, Symon, Cindy, Alisia and Ryan, great-grandchildren Ashley, Emilee, Taylor, Timmy, Kalista and McKendell and by nieces and nephews Ashleigh, Matthew and Jaron, as well as many other relatives and friends.
