Marvin Trollinger

Marvin Trollinger of Yellow Springs died Thursday, June 9, at the Summit at Park Hills. He was 82.
Marvin was born July 14, 1928, in Greene County, the son of Leslie and Dorothy (Sidenstick) Trollinger. Marvin was a member of the Xenia Church of Christ, United Steel Workers Association and the Ohio National Guard. Marvin was an avid outdoorsman, loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Lou Trollinger, children Doug Trollinger, Kathie Trollinger Duffey Jackson and Terry Trollinger and a brother, Howard Trollinger.
Marvin is survived by son David (Beverly) Trollinger, son-in-law Harold Jackson, daughters-in-law Kay Trollinger and June Trollinger, grandchildren Mark Trollinger, Jason (Kim) Duffey, Matt (Angie) Duffey, Justin Trollinger, Brian Trollinger, Christine (Bruce) Rodgers, Andrea (Brien) Jackson and Sarah (Nick) Gernert.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, June 14, at McColaugh Funeral Home in Xenia, with Rev. Chuck Forsythe officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Marvin’s name to Odyssey Hospice, 3085 Woodman Drive, Suite 200, Dayton, OH 45405.
