- Published: December 6, 2011
The third annual Clifton Winterfest is officially open. The indoor shop’s new host location for this year is the United Presbyterian Church on Jackson Street and State Route 343. Winterfest is open Wednesday-Sunday, 11 a.m.-9 p.m., featuring handmade gifts and crafts offered by various artisans from the surrounding area, as well as a cafe. Admission and ample parking is free. The building is handicap accessible. Tour buses are welcome.
Winterfest will also feature a number of free performances and appearances. Tomorrow night, the Muleskinner Band will perform at 7:30 p.m., as part of the festival’s weekly Wednesday night concert series. Be sure to keep an eye on the “Music This Week” column in the Yellow Springs News to keep up-to-date on weekly performances. On Saturday, Dec. 10, noon-3 p.m., Clifton’s North River Alpacas will host a visit from Santa. All are invited to meet the alpacas and give Santa their wish lists at 2800 North River Road in Clifton.
