Parachuters play for school support

Last week’s Yellow Springs Montessori School fundraiser included, left to right, Tyson Housh, Sven Meister and Gini Meekin, who found themselves in a moment of flight under the parachute. The event, “Anything Flies,” took place at the Presbyterian Church and featured the Pop Rocks band, paper airplanes and other flying objects.
The Montessori school is a parent cooperative pre-school for ages 3–5 years that fosters the intellectual, emotional, social and spiritual development of its students. According to its literature, the school uses the writings of world religions in the curriculum to engender virtues, respect for diversity, and a desire to serve humanity.
