Sarah Hammond

Sarah Hammond of Yellow Springs died Friday, March 2 in an automobile accident in Bowling Green. She was 21.
Sarah was born Sept. 20, 1990 in Dayton, the daughter of Jim and Libby Hammond and sister to Katie. She graduated from Greenon High School in 2009, where she was a cheerleader and was an active member of FFA. Sarah was attending Bowling Green State University and was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority. Sarah was a beautiful person and was loved by all who knew her. Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 7, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Springfield, with Pastor Daniel M. Powell officiating. A private burial followed in Glen Forest Cemetery in Yellow Springs.
