Margaret Timberlake

Margaret V. Timberlake of Xenia and Yellow Springs died April 23 at Liberty Nursing Home. She was 97.

Margaret was born on July 22, 1914 in Cedarville, Ohio to the late William and Jessie Mae (Hitchcock) Brightman. Margaret retired from Wright Patterson Air Force Base after 37 years of awarded service. She was also a member of the Springfield Rebekah Club.

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband Mont Timberlake, brothers Alfred and John Brightman and two infant sisters, Marie and Mary Brightman.

She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Mae Maxwell; grandsons Greg and Daniel Maxwell; great-grandchildren David Maxwell, Lori Necina, Amber Maxwell, Brittany Maxwell,and Nelson Maxwell and great-great-grandchildren Cameron, Baleigh, Rylee and Owen.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 28 at noon at Jackson Lytle and Lewis Funeral Home in Yellow Springs. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow in North Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Margaret’s honor. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting http://www.jacksonlytle.com.
