New leadership at local credit union

Sandra Hollenberg stepped up as the new CEO of the YS Federal Credit Union last month when Karen Wolf unexpectedly resigned on July 26. The change was effective immediately. Hollenberg had formerly served as the credit union’s chief operating officer for six years.
The change is a positive one for the credit union, according to Hollenberg, who plans to emphasize the lender’s local focus by getting involved in the chamber of commerce and other community efforts.
“My plan is to be much more about the community,” she said last week.
