Spring has sprung: 2011 flashback…

Last Sunday was a high point at High and Whiteman Streets. Heavy rains from the previous week created monstrous puddles; the water fun and the warm weather proved an irresistible attractor for children.
There were foot and scooter races, basketball, jump rope, screeching and shouting, dogs — and of course, the mother of all mudpies. Participating were Colum and Brennan; Eliza, Joseph and Abby; Loren and Lucy; Jindalee; Molly, Lily and Gabrielle; Jonny, Isaiah, Eli and Sophia; Drevin; Zach; and others yet to be named.
